Expert Witness & Litigation Support Services

Curtis Baillie, designated by the IAPSC as Certified Security Consultant, has over 40 years of hands-on law enforcement, security and loss prevention experience. Curtis uses his experience and knowledge when forming his opinions and uses the proven IAPSC Forensic Methodology. A United States District Court in accepting the methodology found it to be “reliable” (FRE 702 and as established by the Supreme Court in Daubert, Joiner and Kumbo Tire). View the U.S. District Court decision.

While Curtis now largely concentrates  on forensic cases he remains active in his retail security consulting practice and advises retailers regarding such matters as shoplifting and employee theft analysis, crisis management operations, crime foreseeability, ethics training and conflict of interest policy development.

If you are seeking a professional, independent, Security Management Consultant to advise you honestly and objectively, for better or worse, regarding the merits of your case - we can assist you with: premise liability; security policies, practices and procedures; crime foreseeability; standards of care; negligent hiring and retention; inadequate training; retail security relating to parking lots and garages.

Curtis is a Court qualified expert witness. His current case ratio is Plaintiff 80% and Defense 20%.
